How to Complete Life of a Pharmacist in ARC Raiders
Life of a Pharmacist is one of Lance's quests in ARC Raiders. You deploy to Buried City, find the Arbusto Farmacia in Piazza Arbusto, and photograph four things on the second floor: the family photos, the piano, the potted plants and the table under the stairs. The October 8, 2026 Frozen Trail 2.0 update added Basic and Advanced Cameras to ARC Raiders; quest guides report that Life of a Pharmacist now uses the camera rather than the old 'E' prompt, so make sure your camera is in your inventory before you go. Hand in to Lance in Speranza for a Defibrillator, a Surge Shield Recharger and Sterilized Bandages.
Before you deploy
Accept the quest from Lance before you enter a raid, and confirm a Basic or Advanced Camera is in your loadout. Accepting the quest grants you a Basic Camera, and Lance tells you to "Take my camera, and document anything that could tie this room together." One player on the Steam forums reported the quest not activating at the Arbusto Farmacia and was advised to check the camera was in their inventory.
What Life of a Pharmacist asks you to do
Lance is the android medic trader in Speranza, and this quest belongs to his medical and pharmaceutical chain. His framing is less about medicine and more about interior design: he wants to know how his fellow medical greats used to live, and he asks for tasteful shots for his mood board, with no self-portraits.
The quest sends you to Buried City to document four aspects of a pharmacist's life: their skills, taste, family and hobbies. Each one maps to a single object inside the pharmacy.
In Lance's chain, Life of a Pharmacist sits between Espresso (previous) and Tribute To Toledo and A Toxic Trail (follow-ups).
Find the Arbusto Farmacia in Buried City
The pharmacy is in Piazza Arbusto, in the southeast portion of the Buried City map, on the east side of the piazza. It is not generously signposted, so use the piazza itself as your landmark rather than looking for a shop sign.
The front door is usually barred. Breach it, or climb in through the open windows. The front door is the quickest route if you can open it, and if another player has already broken in you can simply walk through.
This is a known ARC and raider hot zone. You do not need to extract anything for this quest, which makes a free loadout a reasonable choice - dying after the photos are taken does not cost you the objectives.
Once inside, head to the northeast side of the building and go up to the second floor.
All four documentation objectives
All four objects are on the second floor, close together, and the route loops back on itself. Do them in this order and you will not double back:
- Family: on the second floor, photograph the family photos on the wall directly ahead of you at the top of the stairs.
- Skills: turn right from the photos and photograph the piano against that wall.
- Hobbies: head into the next room - the one with the cabinet against its left wall - and photograph the potted plants on that cabinet.
- Taste: turn around, go to the back of the room, and photograph the table under the stairs.

If the objectives won't trigger
The October 8, 2026 Frozen Trail 2.0 update added Basic and Advanced Cameras to ARC Raiders; quest guides report that Life of a Pharmacist now uses the camera rather than the old 'E' prompt. If you stand in front of the piano mashing interact and nothing happens, you are not bugged - you are using the wrong tool.
Rewards and handing in
Finishing the four photos completes the objectives. You can leave the raid dead or alive, since nothing needs extracting.
Return to Lance in Speranza and talk to him to redeem the quest.

Running Lance's chain without wasting raids
Lance's questline is the smallest of the traders', and several of his jobs overlap in location.
The same logic applies to longer, more involved objectives such as How to Complete Boarding the Frigate in ARC Raiders, How to Complete Digging Up Dirt in Arc Raiders, the Arc Raiders 'Empathetic Prototypes' Quest Walkthrough and the Arc Raiders 'Clean Hands' Quest Walkthrough: knowing the route before you commit a loadout is worth more than any single reward.
The camera is now a permanent part of the toolkit, so keep one on you whenever you are working through quests added or revised since Frozen Trail 2.0. It costs a slot and saves a wasted deployment.
