IO Interactive’s 007 First Light launched on May 27, 2026, and has already captivated players with its origin story of a young James Bond navigating MI6’s treacherous training grounds. But beyond the stealth takedowns and gadget-based puzzles lies a challenge that completionists live for: finding all 14 Mementos. These collectibles are scattered across 17 chapters, and gathering every single one unlocks the “Recovered Assets” trophy or achievement on all platforms. Whether you’re a seasoned agent or a fresh recruit, this guide will walk you through each Memento’s exact location, the gadgets you’ll need, and the most efficient ways to clean up after the credits roll.
Mementos, Trophies, and the Big Picture
007 First Light contains 92 total collectibles across five categories: 36 Cards, 23 Intel, 14 Mementos, 10 Postcards, and 9 Legacy Items. The Mementos are the key to the “Recovered Assets” trophy, but they also form a narrative thread, each object tells a small story about Bond’s past or the world he’s stepping into. Fortunately, you don’t need to worry about the other collectibles for this achievement. However, if you’re aiming for 100% completion, the “A collector’s habit” achievement requires all 92.
The good news is that Mementos auto-save the moment you pick them up. That means you can grab one and immediately quit the level without losing progress. Chapter Select becomes available after finishing the campaign, making cleanup far less painful. Four chapters contain two Mementos each: Chapter 8 (All the Time in the World), Chapter 10 (The Past Never Dies), Chapter 11 (Uninvited), and Chapter 16 (Wave of the Future). Plan your runs accordingly to minimize replay time.
Complete Memento Location Guide
Below is every Memento, listed by chapter and checkpoint, with notes on any special requirements.
Memento #1, Satellite Part
Chapter 1, Against the Odds, Central Camp checkpoint
Inside the G9 container or trailer in the back-left corner of the base. It sits on a desk, easy to spot once you’ve cleared the area. No gadgets needed.
Memento #2, Cocktail Napkin
Chapter 6, A Night Out, “Get Upstairs” checkpoint
Behind the nightclub bar after speaking with your contact. To reach it without alerting staff, you’ll need either the Bluff ability or the Dart Phone to create a distraction. Use Bluff to walk past the bartender, or toss a noisy object to draw them away.
Memento #3, Championship Badge
Chapter 8, All the Time in the World
In the backstage area of the chess tournament. Head behind the sofa where two men are eavesdropping, the badge rests on a box beside the couch. You can pick it up during the normal mission flow.
Memento #4, Pillow Mint
Chapter 8, All the Time in the World
This one is trickier. It’s inside a locked staff-only room on the second-floor balcony. You’ll need to pickpocket a key from a roaming NPC using the Dart Phone’s distraction ability. Lure the guard near the balcony, swipe the key, then unlock the door.
Memento #5, Pirate Grillz
Chapter 10, The Past Never Dies
Visit the Black Market vendor directly opposite the woman who gives you the ruby retrieval quest. The grillz cost 1,000 cash. Make sure you have enough before entering the chapter, you can find extra cash by looting guards or selling intel earlier in the game.
Memento #6, Crocodile Tooth
Chapter 10, The Past Never Dies
After escaping the crocodile pit with Green
